Romans 8:17

and if children, heirs also, heirs of God and fellow heirs with Christ, if indeed we suffer with Him so that we may also be glorified with Him.

MICHAEL DEAN

GRANDSON

The Lord has taken my Momma to heaven. She is now at rest with her Savior, free of suffering here on this earth.

1 Thessalonians 4:13-14

13 Brothers and sisters, we do not want you to be uninformed about those who sleep in death, so that you do not grieve like the rest of mankind, who have no hope.

14 For we believe that Jesus died and rose again, and so we believe that God will bring with Jesus those who have fallen asleep in him.

She would have been 70 Years old this year, in those 70 years she has experienced more than most, and touched the lives of those around her across the globe.

She has so many that love and cherished her, it would be very difficult for all of us to get together. We discussed as a family that we would not be having a service here in Texas that we would email everyone and let them celebrate in their own way.

For me she was a beacon of unconditional love, I never experienced a day in my life that I did not feel loved by her. No matter my flaw, mistake, or wrong doing, when she saw me she only saw the good and loved me not matter what. I know that true unconditional love she displayed to me is from Jesus, her Savior. I know she shared that love with so many of you. She was always transparent in her own life, always able to point others toward the cross through her own sufferings. She was bold in her faith, never afraid to tell someone how much her Lord loved her, and how much Jesus loved them. It did not matter the time or the place her heart and mind were always seeking to find a person that needed to hear about the Gospel, or one that knew and just need a friend to fellowship or worship with.

She experienced so many things, good & bad. She always found a way to bring the Glory to God, no matter the situation. She used her many talents and gifts to further the Kingdom, I’m not sure all of her friends and family know how amazing she truly was. She was a Mother to many more beside Wendy and me. She was a grandmother, an encourager, a prayer warrior. She was a sister in Christ to many women of faith, she was a mentor to so many young adults, a Drummer, and darn good drummer. An Artist, she blessed so many with her arts, painting, song writing, poetry, stories, crosses. God had given her many gifts for different seasons, but she was always seeking His face to see where He would have her. She had an obedient heart, a heart to serve others, and heart to share the Gospel.

I hope that all of you remember her for stance on the Living Word of God, His word is truth, and it is what transforms us into His image.

I know that I will miss her in every way, in every area. I know a lot of you will miss her too. Take Joy in knowing that she is finally kneeling at the feet of Jesus, without sin. That is exactly where she wanted to be. She longed and desired to be truly set free from sin and just soak up the presence of the Lord, and now she is.

2 Corinthians 4:17-18

17 For our light and momentary troubles are achieving for us an eternal glory that far outweighs them all. 18 So we fix our eyes not on what is seen, but on what is unseen, since what is seen is temporary, but what is unseen is eternal.

I know a lot of Gals were receiving her monthly devotionals, I know that so many of you look forward to getting those, we want to continue sending out scriptures and encouraging words. My Daughter Alicia will be taking over, my mom asked her to please keep it going while she is gone so Alicia is going to honor her wishes.

Chrissy will continue to make crosses to raise funds for the Kingdom, so if anyone did not get one there will be more coming. It was important to my mom that these things get carried on, she prayed a lot about it and feels that God wants them to continue with those things.
